180 miles of excellent walking in Dartmoor National Park, including the thickly wooded ravine of Lydford Gorge, the picturesque River Dart at New Bridge and the pleasant market town of Chagford, and the remotest and wildest moorland in southern England including the astonishing Bronze Age menhirs at Drizzle Combe, the distinctive tor of Bowerman’s Nose and the eerily stunted and ancient oaks of Wistman’s Wood.
